Common use of Faculty and Other Clause in Contracts

Faculty and Other. Teachers may be required to remain after the end of the regular workday without additional compensation for the purpose of attending faculty or other professional meetings twice a month. Such meetings shall begin no later than ten (10) minutes after student dismissal time and shall run for no more than sixty

Teachers may be required to remain after the end of the regular workday workday, without additional compensation compensation, for the purpose of attending faculty or other professional administrative related meetings twice a three (3) days each month, except in cases of emergency involving the health and safety of students and teachers. Such meetings shall begin no later than ten (10) minutes after student dismissal time and shall run for no more than sixtyfifteen

Such meetings shall begin no later than ten twenty (1020) minutes after the student dismissal time and shall run for no more than sixtyfifty-five (55) minutes. If additional time is needed, students shall be dismissed early. Meetings shall not be called on Fridays or on any other day immediately preceding any holiday or other day upon which teacher attendance is not required at school.

Only one of the three meetings shall be utilized by the building administrator and the remaining two shall be utilized at the designation of the superintendent. The allotted number of three meetings per month does not stipulate their being scheduled if the need does not exist.
