Extended Personal Leave. A Licensed Staff Member may apply for a leave of absence for personal reasons. Requests for personal leave must be submitted on or before February 1, proceeding the school term when the leave is to begin. Prior to March 1, the Superintendent will make a recommendation to the Board in accordance with the best interests of the District as far as programs, students, and staff are concerned.
