Common use of Existing Employees Clause in Contracts

Existing Employees. Those employees currently employed on individual agreements (but not those employees employed on the same terms as the expired collective agreement) who become eligible to be covered by this collective agreement (subject to joining the union), may exercise this option provided they relinquish their individual terms and conditions of employment, unless otherwise agreed by the parties.
