Exempt Employee. An exempt employee is one who is not eligible for overtime. Exempt employees are in classifications in Appendix A shown as Code 3.
Exempt Employee. An exempt employee is one whose duties, responsibilities and pay rate exempt the individual from required overtime payments pursuant to the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Professional Test - Employees in the teaching, artistic and learned professions. “Learned refers to professions requiring advanced knowledge in a field of science or learning customarily acquired by a prolonged course of specialized intellectual instruction and study (generally, at least a four (4) year degree).

Finalist Pool - A group of applicants from the applicant pool who have been determined to best meet all the qualifications for a vacant position. First Report of Injury - Related to Workers’ Compensation, a form used for reporting injuries that happen to employees during the course of performing their job duties.
Exempt Employee. An employee who is not covered by the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Exempt Employee. An employee who, for the purposes of this Memorandum, has been designated by the County not to be covered by the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Exempt Employee. An employee in a position who is exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act, as defined by the Labor Standard Division of the Department of Labor and Industry, State of Montana. FULL-TIME EMPLOYEE: A full-time employee is one who is regularly scheduled to work thirty-six (36) to forty (40) hours per week on a continuous basis and is accorded or offered all employee benefits. HOURS OF WORK: The hours established by the Department Head that an employee is regularly scheduled to be at work.
Exempt Employee. Any unit member who is not entitled to the minimum wage or overtime pay protections of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
