Exempt Employee. An exempt employee is one who is not eligible for overtime. Exempt employees are in classifications in Appendix A shown as Code 3.

Exempt Employee. An exempt employee is one whose duties, responsibilities and pay rate exempt the individual from required overtime payments pursuant to the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

FULL-TIME EMPLOYEE: A full-time employee is one who is regularly scheduled to work thirty-six (36) to forty (40) hours per week on a continuous basis and is accorded or offered all employee benefits. HOURS OF WORK: The hours established by the Department Head that an employee is regularly scheduled to be at work.
