Evaluation Conference with Evaluatee Clause Samples
The 'Evaluation Conference with Evaluatee' clause establishes the requirement for a formal meeting between the individual being evaluated and the evaluator. Typically, this conference is scheduled after an assessment or review period, during which the evaluator discusses the results, provides feedback, and addresses any questions or concerns the evaluatee may have. This process ensures transparency in the evaluation, allows for clarification of performance issues, and gives the evaluatee an opportunity to respond or seek guidance, ultimately promoting fairness and mutual understanding in performance assessments.
Evaluation Conference with Evaluatee. 20.5.7.1 The peer evaluation committee and first-level manager or designee shall meet with the evaluatee to discuss the results of the comprehensive evaluation, including peer evaluation, student evaluation, faculty member's self-evaluation, and the administrator evaluation. The conference shall include, as appropriate, acknowledgment of good performance, proposed recommendations for improvement, and suggestions for professional development, including a recommendation regarding the employment of the contract faculty member.
20.5.7.2 Information relating to the faculty member's strengths and weaknesses will be discussed openly and frankly with the evaluatee.
20.5.7.3 The faculty member shall have the opportunity to comment on the results of the summary evaluation report and provide any written comments attached to the written evaluation report within ten (10) working days. The faculty member shall sign the evaluation report, acknowledging the completion of the procedure. Satisfactory evaluations shall be forwarded to the Office of Human Resources; all others shall be forwarded to the chief instructional officer by December 1 of the year in which the evaluation takes place and in accordance with the timelines set forth in Section 20.5.3.
