ESE STUDENT SPECIFIC PARAEDUCATORS Sample Clauses
The ESE Student Specific Paraeducators clause establishes the provision of paraeducators assigned specifically to support students with Exceptional Student Education (ESE) needs. In practice, this clause ensures that certain students who require individualized assistance due to disabilities or special learning requirements are provided with dedicated paraeducators during the school day. By mandating this support, the clause helps guarantee that ESE students receive the tailored educational assistance necessary for their academic success and inclusion, addressing the need for equitable access to educational resources.
ESE STUDENT SPECIFIC PARAEDUCATORS. ESE Student Specific Paraeducators are considered Districtwide employees as they are trained and assigned to work with a specific student(s). If the assigned student transfers to another school within the District, the ESE Student Specific Paraeducator transfers with the student if the receiving school is within the mileage allocation, or they wish to accept the move. If the assigned student exits the District, or no longer requires a student specific paraeducator according to the Individual Educational Plan (IEP), the ESE Student Specific Paraeducator is displaced and will be reassigned, with the first priority being a vacant position within the next pay grade and mileage policies.
