Equitable Access. MCLS recognizes that, in cooperation with its member libraries, managed growth of its network, internet, and email services will result in equitable and fair access to all of its member libraries.

Equitable Access. CEPI is committed to achieving equitable access to the outputs of all CEPI-supported programmes, including access to all applicable Project Results in accordance with this Agreement, pursuant to CEPI’s “Equitable Access” Policy. Equitable Access to Chikungunya vaccines means the regular supply of the vaccines in all Non-Traveler’s Market Countries that have a demand for the vaccines at an affordable price (as outlined in Clause 14.2) and, in the context of an Outbreak or Increased Outbreak Preparation Need, means that appropriate vaccines are first available to populations in the Affected Territory when and where they are needed, including to end an Outbreak or curtail an epidemic, regardless of ability to pay. Consistent with CEPI’s Equitable Access Policy, CEPI is also committed to supporting Equitable Access so that the economics are sustainable to the manufacturer.
Equitable Access. Subject to Work Packages, Partner shall provide the following to CEPI to the extent not already included in the reports and information provided by the Partner to CEPI:
Equitable Access.  Offer like services at like prices to residential customers (Ex. G, Sec. 1(a))  Undertake system upgrades on a ubiquitous basis (Ex. G, Sec. 1(b))  Not refuse service to any customer in good standing, and provide services on an equitable basis (Ex. G, Sec. 2(a))  Actively work to eliminate racial and socioeconomic disparities as it upgrades the System (Ex. G, Sec 3(a))  Purposeful citizen outreach and engagement with diverse community partners (Ex. G, Sec 3(b))  Work with community partners and businesses to promote and track equity and inclusion of services within Tacoma (Ex. G, Sec 3(c))  Provide guidance, education, and assistance to any subscriber requesting such assistance to help achieve equitable service outcomes (Ex. G, Sec 3(d))
Equitable Access. As with the other interventions, the most under-served groups are those far from health facilities. The project will put extra effort into facilitating the provision of quality nutrition education, Hearth activities (where appropriate), and GM/P services in those communities through training and support of volunteers and coordination with health facilities in planning outreach services. Hearth and GM/P activities will also help to identify children with underlying illnesses (such as HIV) so that they can be referred for further treatment. Result 4: Improved maternal and newborn care practices (20%) Despite relatively good antenatal care coverage and increasing deliveries by health professionals, Zambia still has a very high maternal mortality rate and a moderately high neonatal mortality rate. In the project area, AIDS, malaria, and long distances to facilities for isolated communities contribute to poor birth outcomes and poor maternal health, although good obstetric care at Chikankata is improving the situation. The CCSP’s overall approach is consistent with the Household to Hospital continuum of care framework described by the ACCESS project.liv Activities are closely linked with the nutrition and malaria strategies, as well as immunization for children and will assist with implementation of PMTCT services provided by the HIV/AIDS projects in the area. The CSP will begin this intervention after the nutrition intervention and will produce the following intermediate results:
Equitable Access. The above-mentioned strategies will be particularly important in communities far from health facilities. The project partners will focus their efforts on these hard-to-reach communities because the challenges of transport are far greater in those communities, making them disproportionately unable to access quality maternal and newborn care.

Equitable Access. In accordance with 42 CFR 438.206(c), Provider will provide equitable access to and the delivery of Covered Services to all Covered Persons, including those with Limited English Proficiency, diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, or disabilities, and regardless of gender, sexual orientation, or gender identity. "Equitable access" for purposes of this Agreement means meeting the standards as defined by the National Standards for Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services in Health and Health Care (xxxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx.xxx/clas). In accordance with 42 CFR 438.206(c)(3), Provider must provide physical access, reasonable accommodations, and accessible equipment for Members with physical or mental disabilities.
