IRT is not responsible for assisting in the setup of monitors, keyboards and mice that are taken home. In the event of equipment failure or service interruption, please contact the Rowan Technology Support Center to troubleshoot accordingly. Equipment and Technology Access. Home worksite equipment shall generally be provided by the employee. The employee will be responsible for having sufficient internet access to ensure work completion and access to required virtual meetings. The employee understands that they will not be reimbursed for those or related expenses. Any and all equipment provided by Ketchikan Gateway Borough School District shall be used by the employee exclusively for work, must be checked out using the proper forms from the IT department, and identified below. The employee must treat District-issued equipment with reasonable care. The security and confidentiality of the District and student and/or employee records must be maintained. The use of an employee's personal computer may be dependent on the technology and network connections used by the campus. Any out-of-pocket expenses incurred for supplies, equipment, food, etc. will not be reimbursed. The telecommuter must have an internet connection with bandwidth that is appropriate for conducting official business without disruption.
