Equal Opportunity Non Discrimination. In connection with the performance of work under this Agreement, the Company and the Union agree not to discriminate against any Employee or applicant for employment because of race, religion, color, creed, marital status, physical or mental disability, medical condition including genetic characteristics, sexual orientation, gender, age, or national origin or ancestry. The aforesaid provisions shall include, but not be limited to, the following: employment, promotion, demotion, transfer, recruitment, recruitment advertising, layoff, termination, rates of pay or other forms of compensation, and selection of training. The parties recognize the requirement that the Company, as a U.S. Government Contractor, adopt an affirmative action plan that includes goals, objectives, and timetables for the recruitment, employment, and training of minority Employees, handicapped Employees, Employees who are disabled veterans, and veterans of the Vietnam Era. The parties agree to comply with all applicable Federal laws and executive orders pertaining to non-discrimination and equal opportunity employment. The Company agrees to post, in conspicuous places available to Employees and applicants for employment, notices provided by the appropriate Contractual regulatory agencies setting forth the provisions of the Equal Opportunity requirements. The provisions of this Article will not operate to violate any other term or condition of this Agreement. The Company and Union agree not to discriminate against an Employee because of the exercise of the rights granted by Section 7 of the National Labor Relations Act, as amended.
Equal Opportunity Non Discrimination. A. During the performance of this Agreement, Grantee shall not unlawfully discriminate, harass or allow harassment, against any employee or applicant for employment because of sex, race, color, ancestry, religion, creed, national origin, physical disability (including HIV and AIDS), mental disability, medical condition (cancer and genetic characteristics), age (over 40), marital status, denial of family care leave, sexual orientation, gender, gender expression, political affiliation, position in a labor dispute, or any characteristic listed or defined in §11135 of the Government Code or any characteristic that is contained in the prohibition of hate crimes set forth in subdivision (1) of §422.6 of the California Penal Code, or any other status protected by law is strictly prohibited. Grantee shall ensure that the evaluation and treatment of their employees and applicants for employment are free from such discrimination and harassment.
Equal Opportunity Non Discrimination. The parties shall comply with the requirements of 41 CFR §§ 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a), prohibiting discrimination against qualified individuals based on their status as protected veterans or individuals with disabilities, and prohibit discrimination against all individuals based on their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
Equal Opportunity Non Discrimination. Grantee shall comply with the provisions of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 USC 2000 as amended by the Equal Opportunity Act of March 24, 1972, Public Law No. 92-261) in that it shall not discriminate against any individual with respect to his or her compensation, terms, conditions, or privileges of employment; or discriminate in any way which would deprive or intend to deprive any individual of employment opportunities or otherwise adversely affect his or her status as an employee because of such individual's race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, handicap, medical condition, or marital status. The Grantee shall ensure that services and benefits are provided without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, or national origin in accordance with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The Grantee shall comply with Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended (29 USC 794), pertaining to the prohibition of discrimination against qualified handicapped.

The Parties shall take affirmative action to ensure that applicants for employment and employees are not discriminated against due to race, creed, color, religion, sex, national origin or disability.
