Common use of Environmental Justice Clause in Contracts

Environmental Justice. In the performance of this Agreement, the grantee shall conduct its programs, policies, and activities that substantially affect human health or the environment in a manner that ensures the fair treatment of people of all races, cultures, and income levels, including minority populations and low-income populations of the state. EXPATRIATE CORPORATIONS The person signing this Agreement on behalf of the grantee certifies under penalty of perjury under the laws of California, that the grantee is not an expatriate corporation or subsidiary of an expatriate corporation within the meaning of Public Contract Code Sections 10286 and 10286.1, and is eligible to contract with the State of California. FAILURE TO PERFORM AS REQUIRED BY THIS AGREEMENT CalRecycle will benefit from the grantee's full compliance with the terms of this Agreement only by the grantee's:
