ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION AND BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION ACT 1999. The primary objective of the EPBC Act is to provide for the protection of those aspects of the environment that are of “national environmental significance”. The EPBC Act establishes a scheme requiring environmental assessment and approval of proposals likely to impact significantly upon such matters, which in the EPBC Act are termed “protected matters”. The CGM was referred for consideration under the EPBC Act on 29 August 2001. The Minister for the Environment and Heritage determined that it was not a controlled action on 29 September 2001. The potential impacts from the Modification on Matters of National Environmental Significance listed under the EPBC Act have been assessed by Cenwest Environmental Services (2013) and are considered in Appendix D.

  • Data Protection Act 7.1.1 The Supplier shall (and shall procure that its entire Staff) comply with any notification requirements under the DPA and both Parties will duly observe all their obligations under the DPA which arise in connection with the Contract.

  • Clean Air Act and Federal Water Pollution Control Act 1. The contractor agrees to comply with all applicable standards, orders or regulations issued pursuant to the Clean Air Act, as amended, 42 U.S.C. § 7401 et seq.

  • OF CLEAN AIR ACT AND FEDERAL WATER POLLUTION CONTROL ACT This provision is applicable to all Federal-aid construction contracts and to all related subcontracts. By submission of this bid/proposal or the execution of this contract, or subcontract, as appropriate, the bidder, proposer, Federal-aid construction contractor, or subcontractor, as appropriate, will be deemed to have stipulated as follows:

  • CLEAN AIR AND WATER POLLUTION CONTROL ACT Customer Purchase Orders using federal funds must contain a provision that requires the Contractor to agree to comply with all applicable standards, orders or regulations issued pursuant to the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. 7401-7671q) and the Federal Water Pollution Control Act as amended (33 U.S.C. 1251-1387). Violations must be reported to the Federal awarding agency and the Regional Office of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Pursuant to the Federal Rule above, Contractor certifies that it is in compliance with all applicable provisions of the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. 7401-7671q) and the Federal Water Pollution Control Act as amended (33 U.S.C. 1251-1387) and will remain in compliance during the term of the Contract.

  • Health and hygiene The Hirer shall, if preparing, serving or selling food, observe all relevant food health and hygiene legislation and regulations. In particular dairy products, vegetables and meat on the premises must be refrigerated and stored in compliance with the Food Temperature Regulations. The premises are provided with a refrigerator and thermometer.

  • CLEAN AIR ACT AND THE FEDERAL WATER POLLUTION CONTROL ACT (a) If the Sub-Recipient, with the funds authorized by this Agreement, enters into a contract that exceeds $150,000, then any such contract must include the following provision: Contractor agrees to comply with all applicable standards, orders or regulations issued pursuant to the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. 7401-7671q) and the Federal Water Pollution Control Act as amended (33 U.S.C. 1251-1387), and will report violations to FEMA and the Regional Office of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

  • Environment, Health, and Safety 24.4.1. The Supplier and its staff (and/or any sub-supplier and/or subcontractor) shall comply with the laws and regulations in force related to protection of the environment, the health and safety instructions applicable to the Goods and Services performed pursuant to the Contract and especially, if appropriate, to the Goodsand Services performedon any Site by a third company.
