Entitlements Upon Return to Work. ‌ Employees returning to work from an extended medical leave shall return to their previous position and work schedule or to a vacant regular position with the same or comparable salary and work duties, unless medically unable to do so. Where it is not possible for the employee to return to their previous position or where there is no vacant regular position available, the employee shall be offered any casual work for which they are qualified to perform. This clause is not intended to impede or restrict the Employer's obligations to employees requiring an accommodation.
