Enforcement of Laws. Nothing in this Agreement affects the rights and responsibilities of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (the “Commission”) to enforce the anti-discrimination laws, and this waiver does not affect Executive’s right to file a charge or participate in an investigation or proceeding with the Commission. However, Executive waives any rights or claims, known or unknown, to participate in any recovery under any proceeding or investigation by the Commission or any state or local commission concerned with the enforcement of anti-discrimination laws

Enforcement of Laws. Nothing in this Chapter shall be construed to empower a Party's competent authorities to carry out activities oriented towards the enforcement of environmental and/or labor legislation in the territory of the other Party.

In accordance with 29 C.F.R. § 1625.23(b), nothing within this Agreement is intended to preclude Executive from bringing a lawsuit to challenge the validity of the release language contained in this Agreement with respect to a claim under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act.
Enforcement of Laws. Nothing in this Agreement shall be deemed to stop or effect as a waiver, or otherwise act as a bar or defense, to any legal proceeding by the Town relating to the system of the property.
Enforcement of Laws. The SHERIFF shall discharge his responsibility under this Agreement by the enforcement of all state laws, county ordinances applicable within the CITY and the ordinances of the CITY. The SHERIFF shall bring appropriate charges for violations of all laws and ordinances. The SHERIFF shall ensure that deputies assigned to the CITY will have a general familiarity with the code of ordinances of the CITY. The CITY will provide adequate copies of its ordinances for this purpose at no cost to the SHERIFF.
Enforcement of Laws. A. The undersigned governmental entities recognize the dangers of criminal street gangs and criminal organizations and that there is a need for a continuing countywide effort to reduce the amount of criminal activity resulting from such gangs. As such, officers assigned to the Task Force are authorized to take law enforcement action at any location within Broward County, to enforce the laws of the State of Florida, to issue traffic citations, notices to appear, or make physical arrests as the circumstances warrant. The municipal officers shall have the authority to collect and preserve evidence, take custody of any contraband article as defined in Chapter 932.701-706, Florida Statutes, conduct investigations, and/or take action that is necessary and appropriate to protect the safety of the public as may be appropriate under the circumstances. Nothing in this Agreement is intended to broaden the pursuit policies of the agencies involved. Such officer shall notify the jurisdiction in which the violation occurred of the incident and the action taken at the time it is taken, or as soon thereafter as practicable.
Enforcement of Laws. The Sheriff shall discharge and ensure the duties and responsibilities set forth in this Participation Agreement are upheld and enforced, to include, all state laws and regulations, federal laws and regulations, county ordinances, and airport rules and regulations. No deputy shall perform or be asked to perform any services, functions, or tasks that would interfere with or otherwise be considered outside the normal scope of duties for a law enforcement officer assigned to the Airport, except in emergency situations which may require extraordinary duties.
Enforcement of Laws. 16.1 This Agreement is subject to the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. If there is a dispute arising from this Agreement, such dispute shall be filed to the Civil Court, Bangkok, or other courts of competent jurisdiction.
Enforcement of Laws. The Sheriff shall, to the extent allowed by law, enforce Federal, State and local laws applicable within the jurisdiction of the Municipality. The deputies provided under this Agreement by the Sheriff will have a general familiarity with the code of ordinances of Municipality, and Municipality will provide adequate copies of books of ordinances of Municipality for this purpose at no cost to the Sheriff.
