Common use of Employment Termination Date Clause in Contracts

Employment Termination Date. For purposes of this Agreement, "Employment Termination Date" shall mean the effective date of termination of the Employee's employment hereunder, which date shall be (i) if the Employee's employment is terminated by his death, the date of his death, (ii) if the Employee's employment is terminated because of his Disability, the Disability Effective Date, (iii) if the Employee's employment is terminated by the Company pursuant to a For Cause Termination or a Without Cause Termination, the date specified in the Notice of Termination, which date shall in no event be earlier than the date such notice is given, (iv) if the Employee's employment is terminated by the Employee pursuant to a Good Reason Termination, the date on which the Notice of Termination is given, and (v) December 31, 2003, if the Employee's employment is terminated due to expiration of the Employment Term.
