The Employee Requested Alternative Work Schedule clause allows employees to formally request changes to their standard working hours or days. Employee Requested Alternative Work Schedule. The requesting unit member's supervisor/manager will review the request for an alternate work schedule and make sure that it meets all of the following criteria: 1. The proposed alternate work schedule does not interfere with the day-to- day operational needs of the organization as determined by the District; 2. The request is submitted in writing; and 3. The unit member agrees to comply with the requirements in this Article, as well as all timekeeping, attendance, or supervisory reporting requirements. 4. Upon any changes in the above criteria, the supervisor/manager may cancel the alternate work schedule with ten (10) working days notice.
