Common use of Employee Orientation Clause in Contracts

Employee Orientation. Employees shall be entitled to an orientation within thirty (30) calendar days of hire. The orientation may be presented in written form, by video, in person, or by any combination of presentation methods. The Employer shall inform new full time unit employees that the Union is the exclusive representative of all unit employees and provide information on all employee benefit programs provided by the Employer. The Employer agrees to distribute informational packets provided by the Union to new employees. The Union shall be allowed to make a presentation at orientations offered by the Employer.
