Employee Number. Section 2. The PBA will initially notify the City as to the amount of dues. Such notification shall be certified to the City in writing over the signature of an authorized officer of the PBA. Changes in PBA dues shall be similarly certified to the City and shall be done at least 60 days in advance of the effective date of such change.

The Parties agree that the recommendations of the Commissioner will be considered and discussed by the Parties with a view to determining how to proceed with this matter. This Agreement does not in any way diminish these rights. The Parties recognize the benefit of keeping new graduates in New Brunswick. The Parties further recognize the challenges associated with new graduates having the relevant training but not the experience required to qualify for Deputy Sheriff positions. The Parties intend to resolve this issue by entering into this Agreement which will provide the Employer flexibility to consider and hire candidates with less experience than what is normally required to qualify for the position of Deputy Sheriff (ASL 4). This Agreement will allow the Employer to progress employees through the ASL series as experience on the job is gained. The Parties agree as follows:
