EMPLOYEE HOURS. The language below covers only the preparation guaranteed contractually. Other periods of preparation time, although not guaranteed contractually, may be available for planning. For a travelling teacher, every effort will be made so the majority of his/her preparation time will be provided during the student day in the building he/she is scheduled to be teaching the longest. Each certified teacher shall receive a minimum of 700 minutes of preparation time in a 10-day cycle. The above preparation time includes time prior to the start of the student day and time after the departure of students. The scheduling of preparation time shall be determined at the building level by mutual agreement between the Principal and the Association representatives selected by the teaching staff. It is realized that there are exceptions to the normal schedule for preparation time depending on circumstances beyond the principal’s control. Every effort will be made to schedule a minimum of 30 continuous minutes of preparation time three of five days and one additional day of 25 minutes of continuous preparation time. This continuous preparation time may include the before and after school time but it is preferable to schedule the continuous minutes within the student day if at all possible. It is understood by both parties that there are exceptions that may periodically prevent this continuous time (i.e. weather, professional development, special programs, etc). The intent of this agreement is to xxxxxx an understanding that each party wants to find and schedule as much continuous preparation time as possible for certified teachers. However there are constraints that limit the ability every day for continuous preparation time of 30 minutes. In addition to the preparation time referenced above, each elementary employee shall receive break time of 10 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes in the afternoon four out of five days. On the day where breaks are not possible, teachers will work with their principal and peers to ensure personal needs are met.

Between the dates of September lst and June 30th the employees' regularly scheduled work day shall commence between 7:00 A.M. and 8:00 A.M. and shall be eight (8) hours including lunch. The start time of the employees' work day shall be as determined by the Superintendent or his designee. A total work day for teachers shall consist of not more than eight (8) hours, which shall include a 25 minute lunch period, at least twenty (20) minutes of which shall be duty free. The arrival and departure time for each employee shall be determined at the discretion of the Board. On Fridays, excluding district-wide Professional Development Days, and the day preceding holiday vacations the employee(s) departure time will be fifteen (15) minutes after the end of the student day. Before and after the student day, a teacher may arrive late or leave early with the consent of the building principal. The lost time shall be made up the day before, the same day or the day after.

EMPLOYEE HOURS. 6.01 Each employee shall record daily arrival and departure in the appropriate column for each employee’s sign-in, sign-out roster unless otherwise authorized. Any employee arriving late shall record the actual time of his/her arrival on the sign-in roster.
EMPLOYEE HOURS. The regular work day shall be from 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. except as provided below. An employee may have earlier or later starting and quitting times with approval of the building principal. The employees’ work day shall include a duty-free lunch period of at least twenty-five (25) minutes. On Fridays and on days immediately preceding holidays and recess periods, and on days when students are dismissed early for inclement weather, the employee’s day shall end ten (10) minutes after the students at the last building have been dismissed.
EMPLOYEE HOURS. 1. Employees will be required to put in a 473 minutes school day which includes student day and teacher prep. Employees must be on duty no later than 8:00 a.m. Depending on duties, schedules and meetings, the remaining time may be completed either before or after school with prior approval of building principal.
