Emergency Travel Assistance. The Company will supply a blanket Emergency Travel Assistance Policy, at Company expense. The Policy shall be administered between Finning (Canada), a Division of Finning International Inc. and the insurance provider. The Company agrees that there shall be no change to benefit levels unless negotiated and agreed between the parties.
Emergency Travel Assistance. Employees are issued an out of country emergency medical insurance card. In the event of a medical emergency involving an employee or covered dependent, world-wide communication access is available for assistance in obtaining and paying for medical treatment, emergency transportation and certain related living expenses as described in the Plan. Out of Province emergency medical insurance equivalent to the plan provided to full time employees shall be provided for probationary employees who have not been enrolled in the Health & Welfare Benefit Plan and are travelling for Company business outside of the province of Ontario.
Emergency Travel Assistance. Employees and all dependents are covered for Emergency Travel Assistant benefits. If you or your dependents are faced with a medical emergency when travelling outside of the province where you live, Worldwide Assistance Services can help. This benefit, called Medi-Passport, supplements the emergency portion of your Extended Health Care coverage. It only covers emergency services that you obtain within 180 days of leaving the province where you live. For more information, please refer to the Emergency Travel Assistance section of your Group Benefits booklet. This benefit is paid one hundred (100) percent by the Company.
Emergency Travel Assistance. Flight re-bookings – We are available 24/7 to help Insureds rebook flights in the event of a flight cancellation, delay or schedule change. Hotel re-bookings- We can assist in re-booking current reservations in the event of a flight cancellation, delay or schedule change. Rental vehicle booking- We are available 24/7 to assist the Insured in booking car rentals domestically and internationally. Emergency return travel arrangements- In the event of an emergency we are available to assist 24/7 with making hotel, flight and car rental arrangements to assist the Insured in returning home. Roadside Assistance - We can assist in dispatching a tow truck or other appropriate roadside event (lock-out, gas, batter, etc) to the Insured’s location in the event of a roadside emergency.

The Employer shall pay two-thirds of the cost of the premiums. Coverage under Emergency Travel Assistance Program terminates when the insured reached years of age.
