Emergency Retention Clause Samples

The Emergency Retention clause allows a party to retain certain assets, information, or personnel in the event of an emergency situation. In practice, this clause may permit a company to keep critical equipment or maintain access to essential data during unforeseen crises, such as natural disasters or security breaches, even if normal contractual obligations would require their release or transfer. Its core function is to ensure business continuity and protect vital interests by providing flexibility to respond effectively to emergencies.
