Emergency Response Manual. The Company shall prepare and deliver to the Borough, prior to the Commencement Date, and regularly update (and provide such updates to the Borough), an emergency response manual, consistent with the Operating Standards, local or regional emergency response plans and the requirements of emergency response institutions, relating to fire, weather, environmental, health, safety, and other potential emergency conditions. The emergency response manual shall set forth appropriate notifications to be made to all Governmental Bodies having jurisdiction with respect to the emergency, and appropriate actions to be taken to effectively handle any such emergency. The emergency response manual shall include concise, easy-to-read flow charts of the emergency notification process with names and phone numbers, including one chart to address public notification and a second chart to address notification within the Company. The Company shall update such flow charts as appropriate and provide copies of updated charts with the next monthly report given to the Borough. The emergency response manual shall include response actions and standard operating procedures. The Company shall maintain an on-call system for its employees and, to the extent necessary, other qualified, trained licensed operators that live in proximity of the Borough in case of problems or emergencies, including for weekends and holidays. The Company shall maintain an emergency notification phone number that is staffed 24 hours per day, every day, for contacting an operations supervisor who is known to be available (on call) for emergency support specifically for the Borough’s Wastewater System. The Borough shall reimburse the Company for any incremental increased costs, subject to Cost Substantiation, due to an emergency caused by an Uncontrollable Circumstance.

Emergency Response Manual. The Company shall prepare and deliver to the County, concurrently with the preparation and delivery of the Operation and Maintenance Manual, and regularly update an Emergency response manual for the Facilities relating to fire, weather, environmental, health, safety, and other potential Emergency conditions. The Emergency response manual shall set forth appropriate notifications to be made to all Governmental Bodies having jurisdiction with respect to the Emergency, and appropriate actions to be taken by the Company, any Subcontractors and such Governmental Bodies in response to such Emergency.
Emergency Response Manual. The Concession Company shall prepare and deliver to the Authority, concurrently with the preparation and delivery of the Asset Management Plan, and regularly update, an emergency response manual for the Cruise Port Facility relating to fire, weather, environmental, health, safety, and other potential emergency conditions, including any Port Emergency. The emergency response manual shall set out appropriate notifications to be made to all Governmental Authorities having jurisdiction with respect to the emergency, and appropriate actions to be taken to effectively handle any such emergency.

  • Emergency Response Partners must develop, maintain, and carry out a response plan for public water system emergencies, including disease outbreaks, spills, operational failures, and water system contamination. Partners must notify DWS in a timely manner of emergencies that may affect drinking water supplies.

  • Primary Frequency Response Developer shall ensure the primary frequency response capability of its Large Generating Facility by installing, maintaining, and operating a functioning governor or equivalent controls. The term “functioning governor or equivalent controls” as used herein shall mean the required hardware and/or software that provides frequency responsive real power control with the ability to sense changes in system frequency and autonomously adjust the Large Generating Facility’s real power output in accordance with the droop and deadband parameters and in the direction needed to correct frequency deviations. Developer is required to install a governor or equivalent controls with the capability of operating: (1) with a maximum 5 percent droop ± 0.036 Hz deadband; or (2) in accordance with the relevant droop, deadband, and timely and sustained response settings from an approved Applicable Reliability Standard providing for equivalent or more stringent parameters. The droop characteristic shall be: (1) based on the nameplate capacity of the Large Generating Facility, and shall be linear in the range of frequencies between 59 and 61 Hz that are outside of the deadband parameter; or (2) based on an approved Applicable Reliability Standard providing for an equivalent or more stringent parameter. The deadband parameter shall be: the range of frequencies above and below nominal (60 Hz) in which the governor or equivalent controls is not expected to adjust the Large Generating Facility’s real power output in response to frequency deviations. The deadband shall be implemented: (1) without a step to the droop curve, that is, once the frequency deviation exceeds the deadband parameter, the expected change in the Large Generating Facility’s real power output in response to frequency deviations shall start from zero and then increase (for under-frequency deviations) or decrease (for over-frequency deviations) linearly in proportion to the magnitude of the frequency deviation; or (2) in accordance with an approved Applicable Reliability Standard providing for an equivalent or more stringent parameter. Developer shall notify NYISO that the primary frequency response capability of the Large Generating Facility has been tested and confirmed during commissioning. Once Developer has synchronized the Large Generating Facility with the New York State Transmission System, Developer shall operate the Large Generating Facility consistent with the provisions specified in Articles 9.5.5.1 and 9.5.5.2 of this Agreement. The primary frequency response requirements contained herein shall apply to both synchronous and non-synchronous Large Generating Facilities.

  • Agency Response a. OGS will consider all information relevant to the Formal Dispute, and may, in its discretion, suspend, modify, or cancel the disputed procurement/Contract action prior to issuance of a Formal Dispute decision.

  • How to Obtain Prescription Drug Preauthorization To obtain prescription drug preauthorization, the prescribing provider must submit a prescription drug preauthorization request form. These forms are available on our website or by calling the number listed for the “Pharmacist” on the back of your ID card. Prescription drugs that require preauthorization will only be approved when our clinical guidelines are met. These guidelines are based upon clinically appropriate criteria that ensure that the prescription drug is appropriate and cost- effective for the illness, injury or condition for which it has been prescribed. We will send you written notification of the prescription drug preauthorization determination within fourteen (14) calendar days of the receipt of the request. How to Request an Expedited Preauthorization Review You may request an expedited review if the circumstances are an emergency. Due to the urgent nature of an expedited review, your prescribing provider must either call or fax the completed form and indicate the urgent nature of the request. When an expedited preauthorization review is received, we will respond to you with a determination within seventy-two (72) hours or less. If we deny your request for preauthorization, you can submit a medical appeal. See Appeals in Section 5 for information on how to file a medical appeal. Formulary Exception Process When a prescription drug is not on our formulary, you can request that this plan cover the drug as an exception. To request a formulary exception, complete a Coverage Exception form (located on our website), contact our Customer Service Department, or have your prescribing provider submit a request for you. We will respond to you with a determination within seventy- two (72) hours following receipt of the request. For standard exception reviews, if the exception is approved, we will cover the prescription drug for the duration of the prescription, including refills. How to Request an Expedited Formulary Exception Review You may request an expedited review if a delay could significantly increase the risk to your health or your ability to regain maximum function, or you are undergoing a current course of treatment with a drug not on our formulary. Please indicate “urgent” on the Coverage Exception form or inform Customer Service of the urgent nature of your request. We will respond to you with a determination within twenty-four (24) hours following receipt of the request. For expedited exception reviews, if the exception is approved, we will cover the prescription drug for the duration of the exigency. For both standard and expedited exception reviews, if we grant your request for a formulary exception, the amount you pay will be the copayment at the highest formulary tier in your plan. Other applicable benefit requirements, such as step therapy, are not waived by this exception and must be reviewed separately. If we deny your request for a formulary exception, we will notify you with information on how to appeal our decision, including external appeal information.

  • Child Safety Never leave a child unsupervised near a pool, not even for a second. During social gatherings at or near the pool, appoint a designated adult to protect young children from pool accidents. Children must be watched closely while swimming. Do not use floatation devices as a substitute for supervision. Toys can entice young children into the pool area. When not in use, clear the pool area of all toys.

  • Workplace Violence Prevention and Crisis Response (applicable to any Party and any subcontractors and sub-grantees whose employees or other service providers deliver social or mental health services directly to individual recipients of such services): Party shall establish a written workplace violence prevention and crisis response policy meeting the requirements of Act 109 (2016), 33 VSA §8201(b), for the benefit of employees delivering direct social or mental health services. Party shall, in preparing its policy, consult with the guidelines promulgated by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration for Preventing Workplace Violence for Healthcare and Social Services Workers, as those guidelines may from time to time be amended. Party, through its violence protection and crisis response committee, shall evaluate the efficacy of its policy, and update the policy as appropriate, at least annually. The policy and any written evaluations thereof shall be provided to employees delivering direct social or mental health services. Party will ensure that any subcontractor and sub-grantee who hires employees (or contracts with service providers) who deliver social or mental health services directly to individual recipients of such services, complies with all requirements of this Section.

  • STUDENT SAFETY The Parties agree that when a Student attending a College facility expresses to any College employee a suicidal intention or a threat of physical harm to others, a protocol to be agreed prior to the effective date of this MOU will be executed. The protocol will prioritize ensuring that the Student does not pose a threat to self or others. The College will prioritize transitioning management of the issue to School District, the parent / guardian of the student or the most appropriate authority or entity to address the crisis at hand. Often the College Police Department will assess the situation and coordinate that transition with its School District counterpart. School District designates College as its agent under any applicable statutory authority or parent / guardian consent to treatment for the limited purpose of this crisis-response intervention. When on the College campus, Students will follow the policies and procedures of the College to ensure the safety and well-being of the fellow classmates, faculty, staff and visitors. The Colleges will develop standard protocols for various emergency situations. To ensure safety precautions, the College enrolls all students, faculty and staff, including Students in Dual Credit programs, into emergency alert messages. These messages are sent to all groups mentioned via the College email, robocalls and text messages to the telephones listed in the system of record. Alamo Colleges District is subject to legislation requiring it to allow licensees to carry concealed handguns on its campuses effective August 1, 2017, and Students will potentially encounter license holders availing themselves of this privilege. Any notice of these facts to parents of Students will be the responsibility of the School District. Students traveling for College events will be required to sign an Alamo Colleges District General Participation Release as a condition of participation as is required of all students from each of the Colleges of the Alamo Colleges District.
