Emergency Evacuation. If, due to COVID-19 or for any other reason, the College should require the students to vacate their rooms, the Student shall vacate the Room promptly and return the Keys to the College. When vacating the Student must remove all personal belongings from the Room, and the Room and Common Areas are to be left clean and tidy. The Student hereby gives the College title to any personal belongings left in the Room once vacated, so they may be treated as College property and may be removed or destroyed. A charge will be made for removing and destroying them, which will be deducted from the Caution Money.

We will only authorise medical evacuations after the evacuation has occurred where it was not reasonably possible for authorisation to be sought before the evacuation took place. • The medical evacuations must be determined by Our medical team to be Medically Necessary to prevent the immediate and significant effects of Injury or conditions which if left untreated could result in a significant deterioration of health and it has been determined that the treatment is not available locally. • In making Our determinations, We will consider the nature of emergency, Your medical condition and ability to travel, as well as other relevant circumstances including airport availability, weather conditions and distance to be covered. • The Insured Person’s medical condition must require the accompaniment of a qualified healthcare professional during the entire course of the evacuation to be considered an emergency and requiring emergency evacuation. • Transportation will be provided by medically equipped specialty aircraft, commercial airline, train or ambulance depending upon the medical needs and available transportation specific to each case.
