Common use of Emergency Closing Clause in Contracts

Emergency Closing. When the University announces an emergency closing, Bargaining Unit members are still required to report to work unless they have been excused from work by the Assistant Vice President of Public Safety or designee. Bargaining Unit members who have been excused from work will receive their regular compensation for any straight-time hours they would otherwise have worked.
