Emailing Clause Samples

The 'Emailing' clause defines the rules and procedures for sending official communications between parties via email. It typically specifies which email addresses should be used, when an email is considered received (such as upon delivery to the recipient's inbox), and may outline requirements for confirming receipt or acceptable formats. This clause ensures that both parties have a clear, agreed-upon method for exchanging important information, reducing the risk of miscommunication or disputes about whether a notice was properly delivered.

Please do not email therapist content related to your therapy sessions, as email is not completely secure or confidential. If you choose to communicate by email, be aware that all emails are retained in the logs of your and therapist’s Internet service providers. While it is unlikely that someone will be looking at these logs, they are, in theory, available to be read by the system administrator(s) of the Internet service provider. You should also know that any emails therapist receives from you and any responses that she sends to you become a part of your legal record.
