Eligible Hours. 1. Tuition reimbursement is available only for college or university credit courses taken at an accredited educational institution that directly relates to the teacher’s current or anticipated teaching assignment, or that are graduate-level courses in education or related fields.

Eligible Hours. PTO is accrued on the first eighty (80) hours of work time per pay period (excluding extended sick leave, PTO, education leave, funeral/bereavement leave, standby, and short and long term disability) at established rates which are based on the employee's status and length of employment.
Eligible Hours. Employees are allowed to donate up to 50% of their vacation leave or personal leave balance to another employee. Employees with less than 720 hours of sick time may donate up to 10% of their accrued sick time to another employee. Employees with more than 720 hours of sick time may donate up to 20% of their accrued sick time to another employee. If the employees involved are working two different schedules, the time will be converted upon receipt by the receiving employee using the conversion factors stated in the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Donating employees must maintain enough leave in personal bank for any vacation scheduled during the calendar year involved, or cancel vacation leave in direct proportion; future earned vacation leave awarded prior to the scheduled vacation may be used to comply with this requirement.
Eligible Hours i. Employees enrolled in non-accelerated programs shall be eligible for reimbursement of 18 credit hours annually.

  • TEACHING HOURS A. The teacher’s normal teaching hours in the secondary and elementary schools shall be as follows:

  • Regular Hours The regular hours of work each day shall be consecutive except that they may be interrupted by a lunch period.

  • Minimum Hours In the event of an employee starting work in any day and being sent home before s/he has completed four (4) hours, s/he shall be paid for four (4) hours at the regular rate of pay. In the event that an employee reports for work but is sent home before commencing work, s/he shall be paid for two (2) hours at regular rates. No pay entitlement will apply if the employee is incapable of performing his/her duties.

  • Shift Hours All shifts assigned by the Employer must conform with the following guidelines:

  • Ordinary Hours 6.1.1 Ordinary hours will be 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday with a maximum of 7.6 ordinary paid hours a day. All ordinary hours shall be worked between the hours of 6am and 6pm.

  • Summer Hours a) Every year, for a period of ten (10) weeks, from mid-June to mid-August (exact dates to be posted by the Human Resources Department) the length of the regular work week is reduced by three (3) hours without reduction in remuneration.

  • Hours For the purposes of an unpaid 7.5-hour shift, the deduction from pay shall equate to 9.375 hours.

  • TEACHING HOURS AND TEACHING LOAD A. As professionals, teachers are expected to devote to their assignments the time necessary to meet their responsibilities, but they shall not be required to “clock in or clock out” by hours and minutes. Teachers shall indicate their presence for duty by placing their signature and time in the proper column of the faculty “sign-in” roster.
