Common use of Eligibility for Vacation Clause in Contracts

Eligibility for Vacation. Eligibility for vacation shall be determined as follows: 31 32 a. Regularly assigned employees with either probationary or permanent status 33 are eligible to earn paid vacation. 34 35 b. Eligibility to take vacation will commence on the first day of the pay period 36 following completion of the number of hours that correspond to one hundred 37 thirty (130) days of paid service in regular assignments. The vacation, which 38 is then due the employee, shall be the number of hours of vacation 39 accumulated in accordance with the Vacation Allowance Schedule. No 40 payment for accumulated vacation shall be made to an employee who 41 terminates prior to attaining eligibility to take vacation. No vacation shall be 42 taken until earned. 43
