Eligibility for Training. An employee must receive prior City approval to participate in the paramedic training and certification program, and the City retains sole discretion to approve or deny an employee’s participation in paramedic training. Additionally, employees will be eligible for Paramedic training only upon successful completion of their probationary period with the City of National City.

  • Eligibility for Leave All regular full-time employees shall be eligible for paid leave. Further, all regular part-time employees shall receive paid leave on a ration of paid leave time accrued to the number of hours worked in the work week. All non-regular part-time, temporary, and seasonal employees will not be eligible to receive paid leave.

  • Eligibility for Benefits A member will not be eligible to receive Long Term Disability benefits until their Income Protection benefits have expired.

  • Eligibility for Payment a) i) Except in the case of a disability arising out of an accident, an employee shall be eligible to receive an amount of disability benefit in accordance with Section 3 hereof, for a period not exceeding 52 weeks for any one illness, beginning after three (3) continuous days from the commencement of the disability, or beginning on the first day of hospital confinement as a bed patient, if earlier.

  • Eligibility for Sick Leave with Pay Employees shall be eligible for sick leave with pay immediately upon accrual.

An employee must be paid for all or a portion of both the regularly scheduled working assignment immediately prior to a holiday and the regularly scheduled working assignment immediately after that holiday in order to receive holiday pay. With County approval, compensatory time earned for working on a holiday or for a holiday falling on a regularly scheduled day off may be taken on the first scheduled working day after the holiday.

  • Eligibility Requirements for Trustees The Trustee hereunder shall at all times be (i) an institution insured by the FDIC, (ii) a Corporation organized and doing business under the laws of the United States of America or of any state, authorized under such laws to exercise corporate trust powers, having a combined capital and surplus of not less than $50,000,000 and subject to supervision or examination by federal or state authority and (iii) acceptable to the Rating Agencies. If such Corporation publishes reports of condition at least annually, pursuant to law or to the requirements of any aforementioned supervising or examining authority, then for the purposes of this Section 8.06, the combined capital and surplus of such Corporation shall be deemed to be its combined capital and surplus as set forth in its most recent report of condition so published. The Delaware Trustee hereunder shall at all times have its principal place of business in the State of Delaware and shall satisfy the applicable requirements under the laws of the State of Delaware authorizing it to act as the Delaware trustee of the Trust. In case at any time the Trustee or the Delaware Trustee shall cease to be eligible in accordance with the provisions of this Section 8.06, such trustee shall resign immediately in the manner and with the effect specified in Section 8.07.

  • ELIGIBILITY FOR COVERAGE Any employee and the dependents of an employee who meet and continue to meet the eligibility requirements described in this Contract, will be entitled to apply for coverage under this Contract. These eligibility requirements are binding upon you and your eligible dependents. We may require acceptable documentation that an individual meets and continues to meet the eligibility requirements (e.g. proof of residency, copies of a court order naming the Subscriber as legal guardian, or appropriate adoption documentation, as described in Part IV.   • Eligibility for Form S-3 The Company represents and warrants that it meets the requirements for the use of Form S-3 for registration of the sale by the Initial Investors and any other Investor of the Registrable Securities and the Company shall file all reports required to be filed by the Company with the SEC in a timely manner so as to maintain such eligibility for the use of Form S-3.

If such corporation or national banking association publishes reports of condition at least annually, pursuant to law or to the requirements of the aforesaid supervising or examining authority, then for the purposes of this Section the combined capital and surplus of such corporation shall be deemed to be its combined capital and surplus as set forth in its most recent report of condition so published. In case at any time the Trustee shall cease to be eligible in accordance with the provisions of this Section, the Trustee shall resign immediately in the manner and with the effect specified in Section 8.07.
