Entrance Test and Interview for those students who qualified UGC-NET (including JRF)/ UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/ SLET/ GATE/ MPhil shall be of different nature. • Professional qualification in Chartered Accountancy /Cost Accountancy/ Company Secretary as awarded by the respective Statutory Institutes of India will be considered as equivalent to Master Degree for the purpose of enrolment for PhD in Commerce, Management and/or related disciplines as approved by the Regulatory Authority concerned. • No candidate will ordinarily be permitted for admission to PhD programme in a Subject/Faculty different from the one in which the candidate has obtained the Master Degree. However, permission to pursue in a different Subject/Faculty may be considered by the DC in special cases on the recommendation of the Research Advisory Committee subject to such conditions as may be prescribed.
