Common use of Eligibility for Severance Clause in Contracts

Eligibility for Severance. An employee who has fifteen (15) or more years of full-time, continuous service with the School District shall be entitled to receive severance pay upon actually leaving service of the District. Such severance shall be equal to the number of full-time, equivalent, eight (8)-hour days of accumulated sick leave multiplied by $45.00 for each day.
