Common use of Eligibility for Pay Clause in Contracts

Eligibility for Pay. In order to get sick leave with pay, each employee covered by this agreement agrees to (1) report promptly to the department or division head or his designee the reason for the absence: (2) to keep the department or division head informed of the condition and anticipated return to work date; (3) to use sick leave only for sickness, injury or disability of the employee or his family as stated above.
