Eligibility for Pay. 1. ACTIVE STATUS: An employee must be in pay status (including paid absences) for at least one (1) day in the ten (10) day period preceding the holiday/recess and for at least one (1) day in the ten (10) day period following the holiday/recess to be eligible for holiday/recess pay.
