Elective Surgery. Elective surgery should be scheduled during non- school duty months, however, if use of sick leave or ESST for purposes of elective surgery during the school year is necessary, it shall require a recommendation from a medical physician to be presented and approved by the principal 30 days prior to the proposed procedure
