Common use of Election of Optional Forms Clause in Contracts

Election of Optional Forms. 6.2.1 By notice to the Administrator at any time prior to a Participant's date of death and beginning on the first day of the Plan Year in which the Participant attains age 35, the Participant may elect, in writing, not to receive the normal form of benefit payment otherwise applicable and to receive instead an optional form of benefit payment provided for in Section 6.1.1. If the Participant separates from Employment prior to the first day of the Plan Year in which the Participant attains age 35, the Participant may make such election beginning on the date he or she separates from Employment. This Section 6.2.1 shall not be applicable if Section 6.1.2
