Educational Fund. Par. 1. The National Elevator Industry, Inc., and the International Union of Elevator Constructors have established an Education Trust Fund administered by a joint board of trustees. The Educational Trust Fund known as the "National Elevator Industry Education Program" shall provide an Apprenticeship program for the education and training of Apprentices as well as a continuing education program for Elevator Constructor Mechanics. Such Fund has been established pursuant to and in compliance with the provisions of Section 302 of the Labor- Management Relations Act, as amended.
Educational Fund. (a) A Police Educational Fund has been established to financially assist members of the Department who are interested in furthering their education by enrolling in approved courses.
(b) An approved course will be officially classified as such when, in the opinion of the Chief Constable, the Department will materially benefit from the course, and such benefit will be derived within a reasonable time.
(c) Applications for financial assistance will be received from members of the Department holding the rank of First Class Constable or higher.
(d) Members wishing to take advantage of this Fund will, prior to enrollment in any course, make application in writing to the Inspector in Charge of Recruiting and Training Section, who will refer same to the Training Board together with relevant documents. The Chief Constable will consider the Training Board's recommendations and rule on the acceptability of the course.
(e) Tuition fees will be paid in the first instance by the member. With respect to courses involving a final examination, the Employer will reimburse the member for the tuition fees upon the member submitting evidence that the member has successfully completed the course. With respect to courses not involving a final examination, the Employer will reimburse the member for tuition fees upon the member producing written proof from the Course Administrator certifying a minimum 80% attendance, and a satisfactory completion of such course.
(f) Applications for reimbursement of tuition fees shall be submitted to the Inspector in Charge of Recruiting and Training Section, accompanied by receipts and statements of marks attained, or a letter from the Course Administrator as required for submission to the Training Board. Applications for reimbursement must be submitted within 6 months of course completion.
(g) Members who are financially assisted by this Fund are expected to remain in the service of the Department for five years following completion of any approved course. Tuition fees paid by the Department may be recovered if a member resigns, or is discharged from the Department within 5 years of the completion of such a course.
(h) The Union shall be afforded the opportunity of meeting with the Chief Constable or a designated officer for the purpose of communicating the views of the Union with respect to the operation of the Educational Fund. Educational Fund. 18.01 The parties to this Agreement do hereby agree to maintain an Educational Trust Fund to be administered by a Board of six (6) Trustees; three (3) appointed by the Employers and three (3) appointed by the International Union of Elevator Constructors. The Educational Trust Fund shall be known as the "Canadian Elevator Industry Educational Program" and shall provide a program for educating and training Elevator Constructor Mechanics and Helpers.
18.02 The Board of Trustees shall have full authority and discretion to adopt an Agreement and Declaration of Trust and an educational and training program which shall become part of this Agreement and binding on all parties signatory to this Agreement.
18.03 The "Canadian Elevator Industry Educational Program" shall be financed by contributions by the Employers and the Elevator Constructor Mechanics and Helpers. The Employer agrees to pay and contribute the applicable hourly contribution for each hour of work performed by all Elevator Constructor Mechanics and Helpers in his employ, in accordance with the Contribution Schedule contained herein and in accordance with the terms of the Declaration of Trust adopted by the Board of Trustees. Each Elevator Constructor Mechanic and Helper shall continue to pay and contribute twenty two and a half cents ($.225) per hour. Educational Fund - Employer Contribution - Amount Per Hour $0.31
18.04 All contributions required by this Article shall be remitted by the Employer at the office of the Administrator effective at time of signing. These amounts are over and above any wage settlement and are not to be deducted from any monetary package. The cutoff dates for each month shall be the week endings as advised by the Administrator.
18.05 Notwithstanding the above contribution amounts, should the Education Fund require additional contributions, the Employer contribution will increase $0.05 per hour worked and the Employee contribution will increase $0.05 per hour worked.

The union shall be afforded the opportunity of meeting with the of Police, or designate, for the purpose of communicating the views of the Union with respect to the operation of the fund.
Educational Fund. The College shall provide a fund for use for education, professional memberships, travel, and conferences each year of this Agreement in the amount of sixteen thousand two hundred fifty dollars ($16,250). Money not used in any year shall not be retained in this fund and added to subsequent years' funds • Money from this fund may be requested by any Leadership Association member for education, professional memberships, travel, or conferences. • Allocation of this fund shall be administered by the appropriate Vice Presidents.
Educational Fund. The College shall provide a fund for use for education, professional memberships, travel and conferences each year of this Agreement. Money not used in any year may be retained in this fund and added to subsequent years' funds, not to exceed a total fund of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000). Seven thousand dollars ($7,000) each year shall be provided for professional memberships, travel, and conferences
1. Money from this fund may be requested by any Career Plan Association member for education, professional memberships, travel, or conferences.
2. Allocation of this fund shall be administered by the Human Resources Department after approval by appropriate Vice President.
3. Twelve thousand dollars ($12,000) annual Advanced Degree fund shall be provided to support earning an advanced degree from an accredited institution relevant to current job duties. Support of seventy-five percent (75%) or more for degree attainment shall require commitment to work at St. Clair County Community College for a minimum of three (3) years after degree attainment. Educational Fund. The Company and the Employee shall open and maintain an Educational Fund ("Keren Hishtalmut") (the "FUND"). The Company shall contribute to such Fund an amount equal to seven and a half percent (7.5%) and the Employee shall contribute to such Fund an amount equal to two and a half percent (2.5%) of each monthly Gross Salary payment. The Employee hereby instructs the Company to transfer to the Fund the amount of the Employee's and the Company's contribution from each monthly Gross Salary payment. In the event of termination of Employee's employment under this Agreement for any reason other than a termination for 'cause' (as defined hereinafter) Employee shall be entitled to all sums accumulated in the Fund. In the event of termination for 'cause' Employee shall not be entitled to any of Company's contributions to the Fund made during this Agreement.
Educational Fund. SSN shall, not later than December 31, 2024, donate a minimum of *** (the “Minimum Aggregate Donation”) in funds to educational institutions selected by Customer, as an irrevocable gift for charitable and educational purposes. By August 30, 2016, SSN shall provide Customer with an educational fund donation plan for such Minimum Aggregate Donation (the “Educational Fund Donation Plan”) (which shall require SSN to donate a minimum of ***, beginning with 2016, until such time as SSN has made the Minimum Aggregate Donation) for review and approval by Customer, such approval not to be unreasonably withheld, conditioned or delayed. SSN shall make the Minimum Aggregate Donation in accordance with the Educational Fund Donation Plan.
