Common use of Education and Training Clause in Contracts

Education and Training. 16.01 The Employer shall contribute fifteen cents ($0.15) per hour to the CLAC Education Training Fund, for all hours worked by all employees. 16.02 Contributions to the Fund will be used by the Union to assist members in exercising their right to work and have access to job sites, to educate and instruct members in the competent and safe practice of their trade, and to instruct stewards in the practice of progressive labour relations on behalf of the members.
