Common use of Ecological and Environmental Clause in Contracts

Ecological and Environmental. Costs incurred on the Joint Property as a result of statutory regulations for archaeological and geophysical surveys relative to identification and protection of cultural resources and/or other environmental or ecological surveys as may be required by the Bureau of Land Management or other regulatory authority. Also, costs to provide or have available pollution containment and removal equipment plus costs of actual control and cleanup and resulting responsibilities of oil spills as required by applicable laws and regulations.
