Earned Vacation Leave Clause Samples
Earned Vacation Leave. Regular employees will accrue .04 of a day vacation leave with pay for each day in paid service during the fiscal year. Vacation leave for part-time regular employees shall be calculated proportionately. After five years of employment, such vacation leave will accrue with pay at the rate of .0612 of a day leave with pay for each day in paid service. After ten years of employment, vacation will accrue at the rate of .0833 of a day for each day in paid service. (See Article X, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, for computation of years of service.)
Earned Vacation Leave. Employees hired prior to 1981 April 01 will maintain the earned vacation to their credit at the time of conversion to the advanced vacation system. These earned vacation credits may be taken over the term of the employee’s employment to a maximum of five (5) days per year. Should an employee fail to exercise this option, these earned leave credits will be paid out at the time of retirement or termination at the salary in effect at that time.
Earned Vacation Leave. A. Vacation time is applicable only to eleven (11) or twelve (12) month Bargaining Unit members and is earned in accordance with paragraph B below.
B. All eleven (11) and twelve (12) month Bargaining Unit members will receive the following amounts of paid leave based on the completed years of service with the Board, or any political subdivision of the State in accordance with ORC 9.44. A Bargaining Unit member’s anniversary date will determine when his vacation calculation rate changes.

Earned Vacation Leave. An employee will be frontloaded with the number of vacation days outlined below, based on their assigned workdays (not including paid holidays). While the vacation time will be frontloaded, should an employee end their employment with the district prior to the end of the contract year, they will be docked for overused vacation. Employees who start after July 1 shall have their vacation frontloaded at a prorated rate. Eligible employees shall earn vacation as follows:
Earned Vacation Leave. Vacation leave is earned by permanent fulltime employees based upon the number of years of service with the Employer. Vacation leave may be used after the pay period in which it is earned provided the employee has completed six (6) months of service with the Employer. Newly hired employees with prior county service shall have that prior service counted for purposes of vacation leave computation. Newly hired permanent full-time employees who have prior service credit from other counties may use their vacation leave after completion of the probationary period of one-hundred twenty (120) days.
