Examples of each Director in a sentence
Every person acting as an alternate Director shall have one vote for each Director for whom he acts as alternate (in addition to his own vote if he is also a Director).
An Alternate Director has one vote for each Director for whom he or she is an alternate.
The provisions of this Article V shall be deemed to be a contract between the Corporation and each Director and Officer entitled to the benefits hereof at any time while this Article V is in effect, in consideration of such person’s past or current and any future performance of services for the Corporation.

For the purposes of this Article an alternate Director shall be counted in a quorum in place of the Director who appointed him and an alternate Director who is an alternate for more than one Director shall for quorum purposes be counted separately in respect of himself (if he is a Director) and in respect of each Director for whom he is an alternate (but so that nothing in this provision shall be construed as authorising a meeting to be constituted when only one person is physically present).
A Director may at any time, and a Secretary shall, whenever requested to do so by one or more Directors, convene a meeting of the Directors, but not less than 24 hours' notice of every such meeting shall be given to each Director, and to each Alternate Director, either by personal telephone contact or in writing by the convenor of the meeting.
