E-911 Service Clause Samples
The E-911 Service clause defines the obligations and limitations related to providing enhanced 911 emergency calling capabilities over a telecommunications or VoIP service. It typically outlines how emergency calls are routed to the appropriate public safety answering point (PSAP) and may specify requirements for users to provide accurate location information. This clause ensures that users understand the scope and limitations of emergency services available through the provider, addressing potential gaps in coverage or functionality compared to traditional landline 911 services, and ultimately aims to protect both the service provider and the user by clarifying responsibilities and risks.
