Common use of Duty Status Clause in Contracts

Duty Status. A. A reasonable amount of official time will be granted to Employees and/or representatives, who otherwise would be in duty status, to participate in statutory complaints. In addition to official time, Employees will have access to private space and facilities, e.g., telephone, fax, conference room, etc., for use to pursue EEO complaints. B. Employees who use authorized official time in EEO activities who otherwise would be in a duty status will not be disadvantaged on their appraisals for approved absences to participate in functions authorized under this article.
