DUST PARTITIONS Sample Clauses

The "Dust Partitions" clause defines how small, fractional amounts of a digital asset—often referred to as "dust"—are handled within a system or transaction. In practice, this clause sets thresholds for what constitutes dust and outlines procedures for managing these negligible balances, such as consolidating them, leaving them unallocated, or periodically clearing them from accounts. Its core function is to prevent operational inefficiencies and accounting complications that arise from tracking and processing minuscule asset amounts, thereby streamlining asset management and ensuring system clarity.
DUST PARTITIONS. If the Work involves Work in an occupied existing building, the Contractor shall erect and maintain during the progress of the Work, suitable dust-proof temporary partitions, or more permanent partitions as specified, to protect such building and the occupants thereof.
