Duration of Insurance Availability the health insurance offered under this Document shall be co-terminus with a covered employee’s status as an eligible educational employee and will terminate when such status terminates. Nothing herein, however, is intended to affect a former employee’s rights under COBRA or to adversely affect a district or the applicable bargaining unit from negotiating continuing responsibility for COBRA payments in connection with any separation from employment.
Duration of Insurance Availability. An employee is eligible for School District coverage as provided in this Article as long as the employee is employed and on paid status by the School District. Upon termination of employment the Federal COBRA law would cover continuation of coverage.
