Common use of DURATION AND RENEWAL Clause in Contracts

DURATION AND RENEWAL. 3.01 This Agreement shall have effect from September 1, 2008 and shall continue to operate until August 31, 2012 and from year to year thereafter, unless either Party, within the period of one hundred eighty (180) days before the Agreement ceases to operate, gives notice in writing to the other Party of its desire to bargain with a view to the renewal, with or without modifications, of the Agreement then in operation.
