Drug Testing Standards. A. Screening Test Standards: The following initial immunoassay test cutoff levels shall be used when screening specimens to determine whether they are negative for the five (5) drugs or classes of drugs: Initial Test Level Marijuana Metabolites 100 ng/ml Cocaine metabolites 300 ng/ml Opiate metabolites 300 ng/ml Phencyclidine 25 ng/ml Amphetamines 1000 ng/ml B Confirmatory Test Standards: All specimens identified as positive on the initial screening tests shall be confirmed using GC/MS techniques at the cutoff levels listed below. All confirmations shall be by quantitative analysis. Concentrations which exceed the linear region of the standard curve shall be documented.
