The Donation Restrictions clause sets specific limitations or conditions on how donated funds or items may be used by the recipient. Typically, this clause outlines acceptable purposes for the donation, such as restricting use to certain projects, timeframes, or geographic areas, and may prohibit use for administrative expenses or unrelated activities. Donation Restrictions. The following restrictions shall apply to all shared leave transactions:
A. Employees may donate any amount of vacation leave provided the donation does not cause the employee’s vacation leave balance to fall below forty (40) hours.
B. The Employer shall determine whether the employee shall receive shared leave and, if so, the amount of donated leave the employee may receive; provided, no employee shall receive more than two thousand eighty-eight (2,088) hours of shared leave during total City employment.

Donation Restrictions. An employee may donate any amount of Vacation or Sick Leave hours, provided the employee retains a minimum balance of eighty (80) hours of Sick Leave accrual for his/her own use. However, it is not the intention of the Shared Leave program to allow employees who are terminating their employment with the Port to donate their unused Sick Leave upon their termination. Donations of Vacation and/or Sick Leave are not tax deductible for the donor.
