Discriminatory Policing. 87. PRPD shall apply and administer all programs, initiatives, and activities without discriminating on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. PRPD shall develop policies and practices to prohibit selective enforcement or non-enforcement of the law based on these characteristics. These policies and practices shall comply with applicable law and comport with generally accepted policing practice.

  • Discriminatory Vendors An entity or affiliate who has been placed on the discriminatory vendor list may not submit a bid, proposal, or reply on a contract to provide any goods or services to a public entity; may not submit a bid, proposal, or reply on a contract with a public entity for the construction or repair of a public building or public work; may not submit bids, proposals, or replies on leases of real property to a public entity; may not be awarded or perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under a contract with any public entity; and may not transact business with any public entity.

  • NON-DISCRIMINATION/HARASSMENT 3.01 Both the Company and the Union are committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination and harassment. Employees must not engage in discrimination or harassment because of prohibited ground contrary to the Ontario Human Rights Code (the “Code”). To the extent applicable, Competitive Supplier’s prices, terms and conditions shall be in accordance with the Massachusetts General Laws, the regulations of the Department, and other applicable provision of law. To the extent required by law and/or the conditions of any Department approval of this ESA, the Competitive Supplier may not deny service to an Eligible Consumer for failure to pay the bills of any other electric company (whether engaged in the distribution, transmission, or generation of electricity) or of any other aggregator, marketer or broker of electricity, but may reasonably deny or condition new service, or terminate existing service, based upon any Participating Consumer’s failure to pay bills from the Competitive Supplier, subject to any provisions of law. Provision of electric energy supply shall be subject to Competitive Supplier’s standard credit policies, to the extent permitted by law, as described in Exhibit A.
