DISCRIMINATION, HARASSMENT, BULLYING AND VIOLENCE. 20.01 The City, its servants and agents agree that there shall be no discrimination, interference, restriction, or coercion exercised or practiced with respect to any employee in the matter of wage rates, training, up-grading promotion, transfer, layoff, discipline, discharge, or otherwise by reason of age, religious beliefs, colour, gender, gender identity, gender expression, physical disability, mental disability, age, ancestry, place of origin, marital status, source of income, family status or sexual orientation, political affiliation or lack of it, nor by reason of their membership or activity in a labour organization. 20.02 The City and the Union agree that all workers are entitled to and responsible for ensuring a workplace free from discrimination, harassment, bullying and violence in accordance with Alberta Occupational Health & Safety legislation. The City and the Union shall work to eliminate discrimination, harassment, bullying and violence in the workplace. 20.03 Complaints related to workplace discrimination, harassment, bullying and violence shall be dealt with in accordance with the City of St. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Respectful Workplace Policy (A-HRS-02.03). Employees shall have the right to have the Union present during the investigation process. The Employer will provide the complainant and the respondent with a formal letter including a summary of the findings and the result of the investigation.
