Common use of DIRECTORS' FEES Clause in Contracts

DIRECTORS' FEES. Directors' fees or other remuneration derived by a resident of a Contracting State in his capacity as a member of the board of directors or a similar organ, a "bestuurder" or a "commissaris" of a company which is a resident of the other Contracting State, who is nominated as such by the general meeting of shareholders or by any other competent body of such company and are charged with the general management of the company and the supervision thereof, respectively, may be taxed in that other State.
