Common use of Direct Obligation Clause in Contracts

Direct Obligation. Notwithstanding any other provision hereof, the Borrowers shall be obligated directly towards the Agents and each of the Lenders in respect of the Participation of each of the Lenders which are made available to such Borrower as well as any other amounts which may be payable by the Borrowers pursuant to or in connection with this Agreement or any Borrowings. The obligations of each of the Lenders are independent from one another, are not joint and several, and may not be increased, reduced, extinguished or otherwise affected due to the default of another Lender pursuant hereto. Any default of any party hereto in the performance of its obligations shall not release any of the other parties hereto from the performance of any of its respective obligations.
