Detailed Scope of Work. PACKAGE A: Disposal of Ash at pre-designated locations of Mines pit / any other locations GIPCL Power plant generates Fly Ash & Bed Ash which is suitable for manufacturing bricks, paving blocks, AAC blocks, etc. The external Ash customers / brick manufacturers are lifting the Ash from power plant for their use. The scope of work here, as per this Contract, is needed to be executed when these Ash stored in silos, is not lifted by these Ash customers corresponding to the quantities in which the same is generated (Aprox Ash generation is in range of 1500 MT to 2000 MT per day for 4 x 125 MW plant). This remaining Ash shall be disposed at pre-designated locations of Lignite mines pit on day to day basis, as and when required. The estimated quantity of Ash required to be disposed at mines, as per this Contract, shall be as per the Section E – Schedule of Quantities and Price. This quantity may increase or decrease, which shall depend upon the Ash disposal requirement. If the Ash demand of external customers is more, the Ash disposal to mines required may be less. Cleaning of Areas underneath and surrounding Fly Ash & Bed Ash Silos The evacuation of Fly Ash from ESP & Bed Ash from Boiler is being carried out through pneumatic conveying system in all four (4) Units of Surat Lignite Power Plant. Finally, ash is respectively collected in the Fly Ash & Bed Ash Silos. From the silos, ash is loaded in the trucks for disposal. During the process of truck loading, there is spillage of ash underneath and surrounding area of Silos. This spilled ash is to be removed & transported immediately to keep the area clean. The Scope of Work here includes accumulating the Fly Ash & Bed Ash from beneath Silos, Silo surrounding areas at the nearby location and Loading the same into the single axle Open Truck, Transporting it to the distance of about 7 km (one way) from any of the Silos and dispose off at pre- designated locations as directed by Engineer In-charge and as mentioned in the detail Scope of Work & SECTION – E (Schedule of Quantities and Price). In Ash Handling System of GIPCL, there are 4 nos. of Fly Ash & 4 nos. of Bed Ash silos. GIPCL is disposing ash in dry form by means of trucks. The trucks are being loaded underneath the Silos. While loading the trucks, there is spillage of ash from trucks or from Silos. This spilled ash is to be removed from beneath Silos & also surroundings areas / roads nearby Silos and the same has be loaded in to the trucks by mechanical means. Detailed Scope of Work. WBSEDCL has implemented R-APDRP, Non-RAPDRP, ERP projects. These projects includes implementation of various application software like metering, billing, collection, new connection, Disconnection, Energy audit, GIS mapping of electrical network, Network Analysis, Consumer Indexing, Meter Data Management, MIS Reports etc. In those projects one Data Centre ( DC ) and one Disaster Recovery Center ( DRC ) were created. WBSEDCL is also in the process of implementation of SCADA/DMS in Kolkata UA, Siliguri and Asansol towns. This SCADA/DMS project is also having three Control Centres in the aforesaid towns and one Disaster recovery center at Berhampore. Now the requirement is to protect all the application software used by WBSEDCL by creation of Information Security Management System (ISMS) and implement the ISO 27001 certification. Additionally perform Security Testing of all the existing software applications one time and regular security testing of all the applications once in 6 months. The requirement is to provide IT Security Consultancy and Implementation & Certification of ISO 27001 : 2013 for Head Office at Kolkata , Data Centre ( at Newtown , Rajarhat, Kolkata) and Disaster Recovery Centre ( at Berhampur, West Bengal ), three Control Centres ( Kolkata UA, Siliguri and Asansol) & one Disaster Recovery Centre at Berhampore( collocated with IT DRC) for SCADA/DMS under R-APDRP and other offices and establishment of WBSEDCL all over West Bengal & maintenance of certificate and periodic vulnerability assessment / penetration testing of existing / new upcoming applications for a period of five (5) years.
